WCC HIgh School has started a new reading initiative. All 9-12 grade students are required to have a book with them to read at all times during the school day - every day. When the students are done with their assignments they are required to read. Please encourage reading at home. The more you read the better you will get at it. There are tons of books in the library to choose from. “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss

Hive Five for Leighan Johnson!! The High Five award was presented to Nurse Leighan by Kelly Tucker. "Leighan is caring, sympathetic, and concerned about the physical, mental, and educational needs of all the students at WCC. She also takes great care of the faculty and staff. She goes above and beyond by checking up on us all, even after school hours. Nursing is her passion, and WCC is blessed to have her as part of the family." Congratulations Leighan! Thank you for ALL you do!!

Thank you to our car rider families for your patience and understanding at dismissal this afternoon. Our system had a malfunction and was unable to scan the tags. Parent Teacher Conferences are happening now until 7:00. You still have plenty of time to come visit with your child's teachers. We appreciate your support and participation.
