Are you interested in your child attending the 2021-2022 school year virtually? Please understand that the virtual option for next school year will be significantly different from the current virtual option. An application to participate and be considered will be required and will be due by March 19th. There will be an informational meeting to present details about our Bear Virtual Academy on Tuesday, March 9th at 5:30 in the WCC Auditorium. This will be an opportunity to learn all about the program and have your questions answered.

Tickets are $5 for the regional tournament. There is a four ticket per transaction limit on the sales. Due to COVID restrictions there are a limited number of tickets available. Tickets must be purchased for ages 5 and up.
Tickets will be delivered to the email address entered when purchasing. The GoFan mobile app (Apple phones only) is also available. Printed tickets will not be accepted. You must show it on your phone or tablet.
Tonight’s (March 1) pee wee games v SS Batesville start at 5:00. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketleap (in previous post). You can also purchase tickets at the gate for exact change. Students who are 6th grade and below get in free. The games will start with the 5th grade girls followed by 5th boys, 6th girls, & 6th boys.
WCC Senior basketball boys will be playing the 2021 2A Central Regional Tournament in Melbourne on Thursday, March 4 at 1pm. Good luck!! Here is the bracket!

WCC High School Quiz team competed in the Regional Tournament last Friday. They placed 2nd and will be competing at the State Tournament on March 13th! Two students qualified for the All-Region team, Anthony Mckellips and Carter Jones. Congratulations!!!
The baseball game that was scheduled for today, March 1, has been cancelled. There will be a baseball game tomorrow, March 2, for JV at WCC at 4pm.
Tomorrow is Spring Picture Day. ALL PK-6 will take a picture. 7-12 students will only take a picture if they have an order form or ordered online. Order forms were sent home last week. Order forms are also in the office and you can order online using the information below. Virtual students will need to be at the auditorium by 10:00.

WCC's first ever Rocket League games! We are excited to get started and with a win! Rocket League games are played in a series of 5 games each Thursday, our JV team won 3-2 against McDonald County High School in Anderson, Missouri . Right now we only have a JV team made up of 7th and 8th graders. Esports Spring season starts next week, with League of Legends games each Tuesday and Rocket League games each Thursday.

Congratulations to Luke Jones!! He is the first WCC student to win the White County Spelling Bee! He was recognized by Superintendent Dean Stanley at Monday evening's board meeting. Luke will compete in the State Spelling Bee competition on Saturday, March 13th! Congratulations Luke!
