
Juniors- If you were not here to take the ACT on March 4th, please be here tomorrow for make-up testing. You will need to be on campus ready to test by 7:55 am. All Juniors that need to test tomorrow, have been emailed a reminder, as well as their location. This is for onsite and virtual juniors.


Mr. Clouse's bus (#4) may be a little later than usual dropping students off this afternoon due to an adjustment in the route for today only.

The baseball game scheduled for today, Monday, March 15th, has been cancelled. There will be a home game tomorrow.

Letters notifying parents about the upcoming scoliosis screenings were sent home on Thursday, March 11. 6th grade girls and 8th grade boy and girls will be screened on this Thursday, March 18th. Virtual students should make arrangements to be screened. Any objections should be presented in writing by the day of the screening.

BASEBALL CHANGE: We will be playing at Riverview tomorrow (March 15) at 6:00 pm. *This game was originally scheduled against Riverside, but has been changed due to basketball.*

The pee wee game for Monday, March 15th has been rescheduled for April 6th.

Monday, March 15th's Softball game against Salem at Salem has been postponed. The new date will be announced soon.

The Heber Springs Tournament that the WCC softball girls were playing in today, Saturday, March 13th, has been canceled due to a heavy rain that just came across the ball park.

Congratulations to WCC 6th Grader Laila Fisher! She competed at the USAG Arkansas State Championship held at UALR today. She received the following awards: Gold medal on bars and vault.
Silver medal on floor and all around. Way to go Laila!!! We are proud of you!!


WCC BearLand Weekly March 15-19


The WCC Softball game that was scheduled for this afternoon, Friday, March 12th has been postponed. The Lady Bears Varsity Softball will play in the Heber Springs tournament tomorrow, Saturday, March 13th, beginning at 9 am at the Heber Springs Complex that is located at 11510 AR-110 Heber Springs, AR. Bus will leave at 6:50am, The updated tournament bracket is posted on WCCSD Facebook page.


Baseball games for March 12 &13 (Friday/Saturday) have been cancelled.

Tonight’s (March 11) pee wee game versus Judsonia will be played at Riverview’s gym starting at 4:30. Hope to see you there!

Students who were part of the "Annie" musical cast last year should have received a letter this week about performing the show this spring. This is a reminder of the Virtual Informational Meeting tonight at 5:30 in the Auditorium. Any family interested in virtual instruction for your student for the 2021-2022 school year should attend this meeting.

Aubrey Hall and Cassidey Skinner have been nominated to represent White County Central at Arkansas Girls State this year. Arkansas Girls State in an immersive civics education program designed for young women who have completed their junior year of high school. Since 1942, the Arkansas Girls State program has been working to teach future generations of Arkansans citizens to be actively involved in their communities and government at every level.
