🐻🌍 WCC Bear Necessities After School Program 🌍🐻
Our 4th-8th grade Bears had an amazing time on their mobile field trip exploring the Earth Dome! 🏔️🌎 This giant inflatable dome gave students a unique, hands-on experience learning about Earth’s layers, continents, and geography in a way that truly brought science to life! 🌋🗺️✨
We love giving our Bears opportunities to explore, learn, and have fun — and this was a field trip to remember! 🐾💚

WCC Family Night with Waterford was a success! Thanks to all who participated, to all who volunteered, and a special thanks to Oppa for donating the food. Parents were able to interact with the new ATLAS test and interact with engaging reading games they can do at home with their kids.

If your child receives a Friday food bag, please make arrangements to pick it up this week. Due to the size, bags will not be sent on buses or with car riders.
WCC Elementary Family Math and Literacy Night (for K-4), is this Monday, March 17th 5:30-6:30. Through our partnership with Waterford, there will be information about how you can help your child at home, some fun and interactive reading, math, and science stations, info about the new ATLAS testing, take home goodies/resources, and everyone in the family can grab a light "to-go" meal (hot dog, chips, and water) on the way out. We hope to see you there!

📚✏️ Mrs. Smith's ELA class is hard at work developing argumentative essays using multiple sources! Today, students are building strong arguments to prove why longer recesses benefit them. Through direct instruction and guided practice, they are learning to think critically, support their claims with evidence, and develop their writing skills.
🌟 Preparing for success starts here! Teaching students to be independent thinkers empowers them to achieve independent success.
🐾 WCC Bears—Developing lasting relationships through high expectations! 🐾
Keep up the great work, students! 💡📝
