There will be a Sadie Hawkins Dance (where the girls invite the boys) on Friday, May 17 in the high school commons.

7th and 8th grade will have to be signed in and signed out. Admission is $3 per person or $5 per couple. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The movie night that was scheduled for this Friday, April 26, for 9-12th graders has been cancelled due to lack of interest. There were not enough that answered the poll and said yes.

Thursday, April 25 Senior Walk parade - Seniors cannot walk in this parade unless they have thier cap and gown on. 9:00 am. Meet in the HS commons by 8:45 am. We will walk through the elementary, junior high and high school building.
Thursday, May 9
*Graduation practice at 8am/pizza for lunch for seniors - MANDATORY PRACTICE
*Car parade at 12:45 pm for all seniors. Line up in your cars in auditorium parking lot by 12:30 pm.
*You make a difference certificates handed out to staff on campus by seniors right after parade. Go to Dr. Underwood's office to get the certificates.
*Senior Award Assembly at 6pm in the auditorium
Saturday, May 11
Graduation at 3pm in the auditorium. Seniors need to be in the auditorium by 2:30 pm.

Friday is the last day to buy your yearbook for $40! After Friday they will be $50. The last day to purchase a yearbook is May 17. Don't miss out!

Bears beat Quitman 4-1 in first round of District Tournament. Scheduled to play Pangburn tomorrow at 4:00 with a chance to advance to next week’s Regional.

Shelby Foster, a WCC senior, auditioned to be a performing arts Major at the University of Memphis Friday, April 19, and got accepted into the fine arts program. Shelby also auditioned for Gypsy at the Center on the Square and got the lead, Louise or Gypsy Rose Lee.

Some people love high school, while others hate it. The two narrators of our play take us through some highlights of high school and present what to some may be the best and worst parts of high school.
Thespian Troupe Induction and Theatre Awards will follow the Friday night performance.

The Baseball and Softball District tournament begins tomorrow, April 23rd, at Southside Bee Branch. The WCC Baseball team will play at 6:30 and the Lady Bears Softball team will play at 3:15! Baseball students will leave at 4pm from WCC and softball will leave at 11am from the school.

WCC Gifted and Talented is raising money for their summer trip by hosting a yard sale in front of the gym today, Friday, April 19, till 7pm. Come see what treasures you can find!
