WCC HIgh School has started a new reading initiative. All 9-12 grade students are required to have a book with them to read at all times during the school day - every day. When the students are done with their assignments they are required to read. Please encourage reading at home. The more you read the better you will get at it. There are tons of books in the library to choose from.

Hive Five for Leighan Johnson!!
The High Five award was presented to Nurse Leighan by Kelly Tucker. "Leighan is caring, sympathetic, and concerned about the physical, mental, and educational needs of all the students at WCC. She also takes great care of the faculty and staff. She goes above and beyond by checking up on us all, even after school hours. Nursing is her passion, and WCC is blessed to have her as part of the family."

Have you heard the legend of Robin Hood? Did you know Robin was really a klutz and that the only bow he used was for a violin? And naturally, you've heard about his band of merry women? No? Well, come join us for the festivities as Robin Hood falls in love with Maid Marian, battles against King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham, gets help from the Friar and Little John, and is tricked by a rhyming witch. Let's hope that King Richard makes it back before something bad happens.
